When the Sykes family's neighbour Doreen gets rushed to hospital, Oliver is left alone standing in her back garden holding her 10-week-old puppy. As Oliver gazes down at the puppy's lost little face, he makes a promise: to care for her until Doreen gets back. But is it a promise he can keep?
